Title: Shocking question
Post by: ftp on September 09, 2009, 07:57:39 pm
Had to go and quote a gutter clean out in the sticks today. Trouble was it had a pylon more or less in the back garden - not one of those huge ones that run across country, more like the next size down.
How close woud you work to a pylon with a carbon pole?

No more than three metres I would guess.  Wear wellington boots as well as rubber gloves.

I would just leave it if you feel unsure. Some people on this site might say it is ok but do you really want to risk it?
Plenty more work out there!
