hi guys, is there much differance between sodium hypochlorate (chlorine) and sodium chlorate (weedkiller)? and before the idiots come on saying "yes one has "hypo" in it" >:(
you see hypochlorate is a great acid wash for pressure washing and the other a great weedkiller but could you not use hypochlorate for both purposes as on my tub its says good for killing weeds, but im worried about it bleaching the blocks or flags. i know you have to wet the flags first tho and then wash off after but it could be good as either a pre spray or after spray?

one i think you can make bombs with. are you going to blow your gutters off how there will be no need to suck then.

So the theory is to get some of every raw chemical you can think of, mix them together so you have one product for every job. You could add KY jelly ::) ::) ::)

PMSL ;D

Drive I use Sodium Carbate for all my weed killing, only problem, you have to be very very careful using it as it makes the soil infertile for 6 months, so no sprying near anything the customer wants to keep lol.

Huge difference in chems,... Though the bleach (Its not an acid!) will kill plantlife in the short term too,...
It doesn't bleach flags, slabs, concrete, paint, brick, cars etc etc in my experience at all,.. BUT as with any chem take care. Pre-wet all around your work area before you begin, and rinse all around after. I use it to pre-spray really dirty footpaths etc before pressure washing as it makes the job much faster & easier. Its also really good for house washing where the walls are green with algae.
