just a quick question, could i run a van system with 250 litres tank and V10 Shurflo 40psi/3.8lpm pump with this battery, its just i am trying to put a van system together for use about 6 - 8 days a month,

Assuming the 28AH means it's amp rating I reckon it will be touch and go on a full days work. (I used an 85 and now a 110) If it's being charged from the vehicle system then that will help it's longevity.
If you've got it knocking about then why not try it to get started with; however, if you are buying new I would go for an 85 in your situation and charge it after each day.
Also a 40PSI and 250L is a bit low IMO. But again if you've got them then try it.
Just be prepared financially to change them.

cheers for advice, i ahbent bought it yet, was going out to day, but am trying to avoid paying out a fortune, for somewthing that i might not get a lot of use out of lol

i get 2 days off a 28ah battery.
my pump only draws 2amp hrs, check the draw on your pump, it doesn't sound like it will be high.
jeff brimble uses 40psi flow jet upto 50ft (i think, maybe higher!)

oh i use 400ltrs a day

charge it every night with a good trickle charger and it will be fine
i use 20 ah batteries and 4 to 5 hundred ltrs a day no probs
but MAKE SURE YOU CHARGE EVERY NIGHT this will prolong battery life

just pop along to your local "backstreet" garage
they will have old batteries that do not last enough to start cars, but work fine for us, they will be glad to let you take a few away
you will find 3 out of 5 are great for what we want

I use a 17ah battery on my trolley. I can get at least 2 days work out of it. I was using the same pump as you want to use until recently. Then I snapped the barb off... :'(
