On the radio this morning they said that you could open your van with the remote down a mobile. yer yer I thought so while on a job i rung the misses on her mobile asked her to get spare key out of the draw and asked to push the lock button on it aiming down the phone, and I stood there with my mobile near the lock and low and behold itr locked when she pushed it, handy little idea if you lock your keys in the van while at work ;D
-
Seriously? ??? :D
-
Come of it ;D ;D ;D
-
go and try it I swear
-
It could be possible, its just a signal at the end of the day from remote to sensor. The mobile wAvEs could amplify this signal.
Shame i done have CL cos i'd like to see this in action
-
won't work for me, got manual locks :( :( :'(
-
Tap your keys to the microphone then ;D ;D
-
Ill second the "oh come off it!"
Its just a wind up so dumbasses....like myself stand there pressing a button.
-

Having not tried it, i believe it..
You know when you put the remote fob next to your head and press the button when standing far away works compared to when pressing the fob aiming at the vehicle.
I thought yeah right when i heard that - i was bored and tried it, low and behold it did work.
end of the day its only radio waves.. the mobile must just be replicating them for the alarm/cl sensor to pick them up.

Its not April 1st is it ?

a few people have told me about this but i haven't tried it yet.
i can't see any reason for it not to work though
-
rofl.......... ;D
It sounds so rediculous and so many of you think it is a wind up but IT DOES WORK!!!My wifes boss wife locked her keys in the car at home. She phoned my wife and asked her to get the spare key ot of her husbands drawer and press it and it worked. My wife thought it might be a windup so she tried it with her car and lo and behold............it worked!
MAD WORLD!! ;D

apparently, if you aim your key into a bottle and quickly put the lid on it works too, and can be stored for up to 6 weeks in a cool dark place. :o :o

The phone picks up audio signals through a mircophone, it has no capacity to pick up radio waves, it also emits through a speaker.
This can't be possible, but if you wanted to win twenty pounds down the pub, get the row going, take the dough and then do the demonstatration taking care to elaboratley explain to your wife where the spare keys are etc.
A trusted third party holds your original keys.
Demonstrate that this works down the phone.
Keep the money.
Oh, and make sure you get the other keys back off your mate who was with you and doing the real unlocking.

apparently it's been on top gear and the phone must be blue tooth on. grrr
