The Scamper and the Scamper Jr. both provide exceptional power in a light-weight, easy-to-handle package. yet, they're built to handle the tough jobs, with heavy-duty molded housings to assure durable performance. And available accessories provide the versatility for a wide range of applications. The Scamper and the Scamper Jr. give you the ability to keep right on going after the big machines leave off!

300rpm seems a bit harsh for upholstery but sure you could work it on stairs, with practice  ;)

Ive got the Texatherm version and use it lots for Texatherming stairs but would NOT consider it for upholstery an its too heavy and awkward and you dont need that level of agitation for upholstery.

Cost was around £300 from memory.

Mark

PS. its handy for hardfloor work in tight areas.
