Just found this on another forum I use
Fell off a ladder at work and landed on it sideways. Took some pictures of it for me on his phone while waiting at the hospital. Multiple compound fracture, looked like it was about to fall off.

What a wimp - just stick a plaster on it and get on with your job man!
-
Think my breakfast could be coming back up :-X
-
Pheeewu for a moment I thought that was some poor windowcleaner , till I read it again , .
Hope the guy makes a speedy recovery with no permenant damage whatever he does for a living .
-
Time to get a WFP as that is bad :'( next time it could be your life taken!
-
As a newbie, makes me want to hurry even more to wfp. And that sort of injury is getting off lighter than some who have fallen off a ladder.
Even when we see the arguments about which is better - wfp v trad - it just seems common sense that pole is the best choice when your bones, spine, neck or life are considered.
-
double ouch! just think that could happen to any of us at any time. wfp is the way foward. all hail wfp :D
-
Just wants a plaster. Back on job, sorted.
Or sunday lunch. Sorted.
