Title: future of window cleaning
Post by: tony talbot on September 01, 2009, 09:40:24 pm
i think the future of window cleaning is looking quite rosey despite the current climate, houses are becoming so small people have nowhere to store a ladder, people are becoming so fat they couldn't go up a ladder if they had one and also the population is growing old so they to are unable to do there own windows. add to that the health and saftey issues becoming more restrictive every year. although the above is a sad fact, it does result in a growing need for our services . is i right or is i right :)

I started up in April, was a bit gloomyer then. 6 months later i have a business that pays me more money for less hours and the best thing is i get to pick my working hours (though the boss does generally tell me to get I disagree out of bed and go get her some money lol)

As one of my customers said to me .... 'this recession isnt affecting me, my mortgage payements have dropped by £80 a month'

Oh and in 6 months ive cleaned my house 1 and a half times (front twice)

Very little wfp here in Holland within the domstic market...all the big boys use it for commercial work..but I have to admit I have only seen 1 other domestic window cleaner with wfp where I'm based (and he gave me about 8 of his customers).

Good for me..hope the trad guys just keep doing their thing and I'll do mine..

The future's bright the futures Orange.

Dave.

I think we'll all be evolving into longer cleaning frequencies!  I've already got quite a big handfull of well priced domestic on two or three monthly cleaning cycles.

Or perhaps more scheduled cleaning ...i.e customers have the same day every 4/6/8/12 weeks etc or perhaps like Cozy in Gurmmany scheduled to the hour both ins/out's?
