Title: long bristled fascia brush
Post by: Blue Frog Systems on August 29, 2009, 10:53:47 pm
Wondered what brushes people use when cleaning fascia boards ?

I use a vikan oval, but want something with longer bristles to get under the guttering a bit better.

use one of those brushes you use for painting fences with and put some jets on it. there about 6 inches wide, hope that helps.
kind regards

I'm not keen on the paste/fence brush type. But that's just a personal thing.

There's a picture of my dedicated gutter brush below.

And here's a link that shows where I stole my technique from. The bit not shown is that the brush is simply dipped into the cleaning solution. (I use TFR.) The downside to this technique is that the solution gets very dirty. But it still works OK.
