How much demand is there for a regular dry or low moisture cleaning service for the domestic market? Im thinking every 1 to 3 months a quick buff over at half the price of a full clean.
I know I have spoken to a couple of guys who offer this and seem to get fair work out of it.

I do my own carpets using LM method with my Oreck Orbiter cos it's quick and easy..... I offer the option to custy's who aren't too keen on the idea of their carpets being flushed with water! (As they put it!) It's nice to offer them a choice though!

What do you charge for that, is it cheaper or the same as HWE?

I do a fair amount of bonnet cleaning on the comercial side anddo the domestic as well if i think its going to clean but always get the same price :)

I quote the same as HWE Mike, haven't really done much of it though!

but as Rich was asking about quick bonneting every 1 or 3 months - the custy is not going to go for the regular domestic HWE price.
It would have to be a traffic lane only situation - quick in and collect the money.
Not tried it - it makes sense on the bad jobs but are they the ones who would be bothered anyway.
IMO doesnt make sense for those who look after their carpets..... but they just might be the ones to go for it.
Steve Barnett just bought the smaller Cimex machine - he could make a killing if clients would go for it.
