was just wondering when making my harris pole, what difference the diametre of tubing made, some people said use 4mm and some say 6mm or 7mm, what do you rekon is best and why. cheers

I made one months ago and used 5 mm tubing,I don't think it makes any difference in what size tubing you use,the bigger the hole is to feed the tube through the easier it's likily to break I think.

yeh true i suppose. is there a common size tube that fits most things you connect too, i mean a standard size or something. cheers for the advice anyway, anymore suggestions would be very welcomed.
also were is the cheapest place to get the tubing from, bloody b&q wants over a quid a metre, thats a joke isnt it. and were is the cheapest gardiners supalight brush, please help.

go to an RS trade counter, £8 25m
2x 1/4" thread 1/4 hosetail £2 odd (for the tap on the end)
or if there is not one near you they will deliver via website

whats the rs counter never heard of it. and does that 1/4 hosetail fit a normal garden hose, as im going to use the mains tap for fascias and guttering.
