I was looking for advice on what equipment to buy to clean communal area windows. I have tried cleaning with a ladder and it is too dodgy, in my opinion. I am looking at a trolley system for starters, and have seen various systems mentioned/recommended, but i am looking for advice on what exactly I need before I splash the cash.

i see from the website you arent a window cleaner why not sub out to someone that knows what there doing.
then you can stick to cleaning and a window cleaner can get his bit. anyway thats my opionion but if you want to do windows as well a back pack would be cheap starting point, with a di vessle to purifie the water and a few containers in the van/car to top up the backpack
and you will need a window cleaning license and depending what part of lanarkshire you cover you may need two

perhaps i was a bit blunt there, but my point is i know a few window cleaners in lanarkshire and i am sure if you subed work out they in return could promote your business.
but in my experience cleaning companys dont charge enough for it to be worthwhile to do work for them so they tend to anoy me when i see cleaners trying to clean windows badly and as you suggested you were not to happy on the ladder i assumed you were one of them.
but if you want to see a wfp set up and how to do traditional w/c then i am in falkirk and can show you the score if it helps
i really should not be so judgemental as i have on occasion thought about doing cleaning my self

hi,my advice is to buy a telescopic cleaning pole and a WAGTAIL flipper squeegee(14 or 16 inch) .with about a weeks practice you will be able to do any window you like .
