Edward, Hydramaster sell a selection of anti-allergy treatments.

Cats produce a substance in their saliva and glands that is design to 'stick' to things, to mark territory.
You will need to wipe down walls, skirting board as well as clean carpets and upholstery for greasy substances. Sometime all you can do is paint over hard surfaces, it's that stubborn. She should also know to take an anti-histamine well before arrival at your gaff. ;)

I will second all of the above because i too struggle with cat allergies, and even when generally (not carpet) cleaning catty houses i have noticed a distinct improvement week on week in how 'bad' my reaction is. I believe its the 'dander' which causes the trouble and that gets everywhere.
