Title: WFP Domestics
Post by: combat1 on August 18, 2009, 09:48:11 pm
Hi Everyone
How do you get on with domestic customers who are out and who leave the windows open?
A lot of my customers do this and obviously this prevents using the WFP method. Thanks.

close them with your pole, just don't do the frame above the open window :)

If the windows can be shut with the pole, I shut them. If they can't be closed, they're left if water will go inside the window (i.e sash, tilt and turn).

Push them shut with your pole...miss any window above it if you cannot shut it tightly..and charge them as per normal..

As part of our terms and conditions..I do leave these issues as the responsibilty of the customer.

Cheers
Dave.

Had a couple of these today, if you just shut the window tight, and if they are normal upvc the windows above should be okay to do.

LOL,.................I done my next door neighbours a few weeks ago,was shuting the window as it was open, had to use a bit of force as it was open to the limit and "CRACK" went the pole, luckily it was an old extender one I use for my own windows too,I just grab my trolly to do next door, alot easier than reeling hoses out etc.,mind you thats the only time the trolly gets used,my house and next door ;D
