Hi Mike

I have a carpet cleaner in my area who has two techs and he and them attend a course every year just to top up.

What I have noticed is that there is not many marketing and how to take on help type of courses,  apart from Roberts. I would like to see more on direct responce marketing that does not have anything to do with Joe or Robert, the reason is that this type of marketing is just great, and lots of carpet cleaners miss out because they dont like Joe.

Business management course would help. i have 20 staff working for me I know that you need to know all the tricks in the book to keep one step ahead.

Quility control, When you have people working for you how do you make sure thay do what you have told them and that they are dont making your business look unprofessional. this is easy when everyone works on the same site, but with our job you have to have systems in place that insure that things are done the right way

As I have said before on here there are some great info products on the net regarding these subjects, but little within carpet cleaning.

Making money is why we are all in business. more help on how to get more money for each job, how to increase the times we clean for each client on our database, and how we can add other services for our clients.  Instead of focusing on new clients all the time how about makeing more from the ones we have.

Many cleaners dont like selling, so help on how to market to groups of prospects that have a need. like how to market to renters, or how to event based marketing.

BTW. the carpet cleaner in my area that goes on these courses turns over £100,000 a year, so he must be doing something right? or may be he doing a great job and getting loads of repeat.

Respeect.......................Ian Harper
