just got back from my week in cold windy rainy Scotland, how do you Scottish guys ever earn a living?

They let the rain do all the work and just wave their poles about to make look like it's all down them.

i have been  rained of here in dundee since friday, i managed a half day today  :'( thats why we can  work faster than you lot  ;D

I took Friday afternoon off, but was out every other day. There will be allot worse to come when the winter kicks in.

friday afternoon was bad and saturday morn and sunday morn also. In fact weather has been rubbish lately

Wind and rain is normal here you just get used to it when its not raining you are waiting for the next time it will rain

on the plus side the more it rains up here the more water we have to sell to drought ridden lands, like erm...the one down a bit from scotland....whats that called again ???

i just go to work and pretend its not raining :P and if a customer says anything i just say its falling straight down and not hitting the windys anyway

some do but not many, the one customer i never do in the rain is english funnily enough but shes happy not to be done regular just when i can fit her in

I try not to work in the rain, but this summer the reserves have been heavily eaten into, so time for a policy change. if anyone comments they will be told the work is guaranteed and i will come back if they ain't happy.
being Scottish i chew on a glass irn-bru bottle as i tell them ;D ;D

boo you come from argyll dont ye, how can you not work in the rain, it always rains in argylshire ;D sorry sometimes it snows :o

as long as i bring in £2000 a day i can break even just working all the dry days in the year.

me to thats why i work in the rain ;) i can only do £1500 a day ::)
