my vacs wearing out i think is it possible to change anyhting on them instead of sending them for service ????

electrical brushes
-
where can i get them
-
google your make of vac and see what pops up - like the manufacturers website or their agents.
You not given much for anyone to work on - like what make, does it have a problem, what etc.

its a lamb 3 stage vac i have 2 vacs their in a alltec aqua 40 machine
-
most major carpet cleaning suppliers will have spares for lamb motors.
or try woodbridge commercial.

Some people will tell you that after you change the brushes the vac motor tends to blow shortly afterwards and it is probably just as cheap to keep running the motor until it eventually gives up.
From my own experience I have had motors blow shortly after changing brushes ,but on the other hand I have had motors going on and on after changing the brushes.

Although the brushes are wearing, the thing they rub against (armature? I think) is also wearing, that why they often go after you change the brushes.
Probably a false economy to just change them, your vacs will be all gunked up inside as well.
New vacs allways make a real difference to my porty.
