my inlet tap keeps blowing on my whirlaway, any ideas why? when it goes you lose pressure as the water rushes out through little hole underneath by the spray arm barrel. ???
-
You probably have to change the inlet valve assembly
I've attached a picture of the entire assembly so you
can see the inside. The part you need is on top it is
that little plunger with the o-ring and spring.

hi hal thanks for your reply its im going to buy a machine from you when have the money. i enquired about it while ago. i have spare rubber o rings and i have fitted it and its working ok but not sure why they dont last long. i have gone through 3 in 3 months. i think if the nozzles get blocked it adds pressure to the tap and can rip the seal.? also my honda machine when in by pass mode is making a noise every 4 seconds instead of a constant engine noise and the pressure gage jumps up when it makes the noise. i was told the crank shaft was going. could this be the cause? ???

The hole that the inlet valve moves up and down in has to be cleaned
from all the sediment that deposits up in there use a Qtip with a mild
degreaser and clean the hole out. This should solve your problem.
As far as the engine noise its possible the crank shaft is going but it sounds
more like your unloader is starting to give you problems.

Weve had this conversation loads of times.
How often do you grease the head. I ALWAYS graese mine on every job. As you can see by Als piccy the grease is purley to lubricate the very slight movement of the O ring in it's housing, without grease it will tear in minuites
