Title: Cleaning of curtain pelmet

A customer has asked if i could clean a curtain pelmet for him its about 4ft wide, cotton and has a thin sheet of ply wood inside it.
He basically wants it freshened up as he was a smoker.
Any Ideas? ( im abit concerened if i lightly extract with a hand tool that the board inside might bow)

if its not dirty with smoke, and only smells use a strong vac and fresh spray or whatever fresner you use should do the job. if you wet and it has cardboard inside many problems, alterate is ysing solvent but not reccomended.  if you can help it,if you do vac take some glue as it can pull off from the board.
