Get onto the council, find out when they empty the beens in certain streets, just ring em up and say summit daft like i've just moved into a road when is the bins emptyed they will tell you the days etc,do that or follow the dust cart, and drop your flyers in after they've been,my mate does that, problem he has,ok if your in a large town,as he's in the countryside he does a lot of milage

Has your mate done any door knocking as I have done all that you have suggested I have placed ads in my local press sent flyers with our local free paper even tie labels onto bins, i/m not sure if the current recession has anything to do with it but at £3.50 per month per bin I would have thought that the cost would not be a problem,  have all the proper gear with water, environment, local council approval...just can't see what i am doing wrong just need suggestions from people that have the knowledge........

Hi,
he's done quite alot, knocked on doors, flyers, while he was following the bin lorry,he was sticking flyers on top of the bins.

It is this recession my friend,he's chargeing £2 a bin per fortnight and has had loads of cancellations to.

Like most of us,just keep ya fingers crossed

you can get bin days from local council website .once you have these its a case of following bin lorries and asking if people want them cleaning also mark the bins with house number, easier to clean next time if you can find bin.find any large buildings that have loads of bins and if they have residents assosiation ask if you can do all the bins.

Thanks to you all, I do stick a sticker on each bin I clean saying "this bin is cleaned by east devon wheelie clean" with my number etc, I guess as we come out of this recession things will look up also if you can make a business work whilst in a recession I guess it can only grow and get stronger......again thanks for your comments.

I did that once at asda car park, sent my son out to do the windscreens with flyers,2 days later got a call from asda moaning about my flyers littering their car park(this was down to car owners taking off the windscreen and throwing it away) among the Mac's and KFC's cr*p  >:( got really stroppy with me and threaten legal action..........for fly tipping, wayne kerrs, still, got 2 jobs from it,lol  ;D
