Title: PIC Tinting
Post by: Richy L on August 11, 2009, 02:58:07 pm
Ok, So i know how to seal a driveway now. My last customer wanted it "blitzed" so I used a full colour charge. But I am told I can "tint" the driveway, only using half the colour charge or as much as wanted.

If I do this on older PIC wont the finish be uneven and look patchy.
Won't it look bad where the old sealant has come up and some areas are different to other areas before I start?

I say this because the sealant would be slightly transparent.

Richy, speak to Advanced Sealing Solutions.

Their advise is not to go lighter than the darkest colour that you are covering.

Try a bit, then try some more. Once colour OK then proceed. Be sure to be exact when recording you mixture though or you could be in trouble if you need to mix more.
