The amount of resin I seem to be going through at the moment those prices sound like a bargain.

Shame, even further than hemel, a pure water supplier in SW london is harder to find than the Holy Grail!
-
good luck to you mate...good prices .....if you down here i wouldnt have bothered with my static system!
-
i really don,t want to knock this guy for selling pwater but anyone thinking of buying on a regular basis would be mad , to get you out of trouble yes but you would spend so much more compared to having your own ro , just do the sums regards alan

Hey, we now supply water in Hemel/Watford and get a lot of the local boys in for top ups or because they have just bought a delivery wfp system
-
i think it just opens youself up to competition setting up easier
-
There is plenty of work out there for all of us. Think that would be the case if domestics sold to domestics but most of my competition would have their own industrial unit with a large static system. By selling the water have met loads of good local guys and passed on domestics and small commercial and have had leads passed to us on some big stuff

Lee Pryor is just down the road from me. Although I make my own pure water I would certainly be prepared to buy some from him to get me out of a hole if my RO went wrong or similar. Otherwise it would be paying out around £20 to be able to manage one and a half days work. If the alternative is to earn nothing, then I still reckon that's a decent deal. To make pure water with resin only in that area (TDS c.200) would cost about one bag of resin per 2,500 litres. Assuming £75 per bag, that means 999 litres would cost about £30 in resin. Although it obviously wouldn't cost LP that much due to the RO, it would save me £10 on making it myself if my RO went down for a short while.

Why dont you scale your prices more, ie 100 - £1 (this is an example) some people may only ave a 250 litre tank and still gotta pay £10, no thanks.

I agree, it does seem harsh for some.
My son buys UNLIMITED water for £100 per month, and has his own access 24/7.
That seems the best deal to me, and saves all the admin and hassle, as they don't have to check how much he takes.

Had four guys in today for water, what do you think is fair price per litre, as if there is such a call for it I might put systems in my Milton Keynes, London and Birmingham depots
-
Funny you should say had a meeting with our environmental consultant and a company about this today, we will be storing the rain water from our warehouse roof and then pumping it through our water purification system. We are also looking at solar power for it. If you have any other good ideas let me know

Could work, they like to be green but like to pay for it than do it themselves, not add pool cars or mini buses to reduce carbon just buy a forest and say we are carbon neutral, it rained today for about an hour and took about 3 min's to fill 1000 IBC so should have no problem with enough water

Fair point Alan, but if your living in a flat or for some other reason have nowhere to put a static system then this could be a good answer.
