Title: Sticky Adhesive

Morning Guys,
I am doing a commercial clean tonight on some office carpets, the girls have been getting a little to enthusiastic with the spray adhesive and it has gone all over the floor covering large areas, it is very sticky to the touch so can you give me some advice on the best way to remove? I am using a porty with only liquid chemicals.

Solvents are always good on adhesive or citrus gel

The only issue is that the sticky area is covering about 5 square metres. Do you think i will be able to hot extract the residue away? ???

i would prespray a hot water mixed booster like citra boost or greasebreaker and agitate, not sure this would work on adhesive but i do it on black top and it works a treat.

don't use strong volatile solvents (especially d-limonene based ones) on bitumen-backed carpet tiles or you'll have an even bigger mess that WON'T be cleanable ;)

I'd be using a bonnet and plenty of patience by the sounds of it.

ive tested citra boost and grease breaker on bitumen back tiles and there safe, hydramaster OJ on the other hand fcks them up well bad innit.
