Title: "Market Research Methods"
Post by: micsampip on May 11, 2005, 09:39:10 am
:) I was advised by a business advisor at the Business Link to do some market research.

I have already had good feedback from friends, knowing someone who needs a cleaner etc. I have also given my number to a potential client and a friend has given my number to someone who had a rude response from a competitor.

I've had a couple of girls say they would be interested in working for me and I have phoned a couple of cleaning businesses locally who have waiting lists of client.

I was wondering whether to put an ad in the local paper stating that a high class cleaning business is about to come into their area and to see what sort of replies I will get.

Although I don't want to mislead anyone as I don't know how long it will take loans and grants to come through - or whether I need loans and grants to actually start?

Has anybody got any other suggestions please?

Thanks

Lisa  ;)
