Hi guys & girls I have the old Prochem super extraction machine & I am now looking to upgrade the machine now after beeing carpet cleaning for a year & I cant decide between the above two machines any advice please???
-
Not had any personal experiance of either machines but if I was in the market for a new portable the Tex EMV would be on my "got to have a demo" list.
Its been out about a year now and heard nothing bad about it.
No doubt Gary will add to this thread once he sees it as he has wonand finds it good.

Cheers joe by the way what do you use, and are you happy with it?
-
Hi clinton, yes it does look like a complex machine but it looks like the uses are endless I will deffently get a demo first before I part with the cash.
-
Hi Wayne.
What machine do I use?
My main machine now is a 15hp Prowler truckmount.
My backup machine is the portable I had before I got the Prowler, a 3 vac Scorpion portable.
-
Hi Joe
How do you personally find the truckmount system to the porti is it worth the extra investment?
-
Bloody right they are !
every time it knocks the spots off a porty
-
Wayne are you mainly a domestic carpet cleaner or a comercial one? do you do pubs and clubs or office blocks or homes?
A truck mount clean carpet fast but if you up the Empire state building then the pipes won't be long enough to clean the top floor so get the machine that fits you.

Ive used a steampro for 2.5 years and the clients are always happy but the older guy Shaun is right about the speed side of things and the raw power , dryer carpets , better job , impresses the clients , less spotting bla bla bla and I dont own a TM !! 8)
Shaun so your a shoe expert now ? bet you where sick of your life eh

I've always been the soul of the party.

Whats this about the OLDER guy Shaun? The poor guys not even in his prime!
Wayne it depends where you want to go with your next purchase. The easiest decision is to have demos of both and decide that way. It is a lot of cash to part with if you get it wrong.

I have the emv and love it. The great thing about it it allows me to look at a job and choose what way I want to clean it. I can extract or do dry cleaning, so it really suites me.

Garry you codger
Covenant absolutely spot on the idea is to have options and a knowlegable cleaner will have an arsenal of weapons of mass destruction to clean anything and everything.
