Title: whats with the banners?

i can see its bringing in revenue but to have one saying meet russian girls is that really appropriate?!! i was getting all excited ;D ;D

its google tracking cookies.

Your browser logs the type of sites you visit and then advertises the type of adverts that you might be interested in by the logged tracking cookies on your computer.

For example if you like cars and check out cars all day you get ads for cars

If you like football you get ad for sporting goods.

However if like me you have the tracking cookies and internet history deleted everytime you close the browser, you will just get cleaning ads since your on a cleaning forum.

So, what do you like searching the net for?  Or maybe someone using the computer other than you is searching for?

Better check the cookie history on your computer!

if only! ;D i don't need a russian wife and i ain't been looking for one, i don't think anyway ;D if your also refurring to me surfing porn i don't and can't as my netbook won't allow it. i've obviously tried though  ;D ;D

Im not saying you have been looking at porn or that you need a russian bride.

You might be looking at dating sites? Facebook type sites with peoples profiles? all manor of things.

Im just saying thats how the ads work.

i've just deleted all my cookies and now i'm getting dream russian wifes. i'm stumped by it all ::)

TRACKING COOKIES, ALSO KNOWN AS SPY WARE.

oops sorry caps.

you need a spy ware removal program usually included with good anti virus software.

I use AVG which is free, also AdAware, CCleaner and EMCO Malware Destroyer

what on facebook? lol ....i think a lot of people use it as a meat market anyways  ;)
