Title: Gardiner’s New(est) Super-Lite dual trim brush
Post by: Mike 108 on August 06, 2009, 10:11:06 pm
I have used this latest mono-filament version for 4 days now and think that it is truly ‘the bee’s knees’

I haven’t been able to use it on any really dirty ‘first cleans’ – but for my regular work it was great.

The bristles have been set into the stock with a much greater ‘splay’ angle - and the results are, that:

1.   It sits closer to the glass and ‘glides’ around the glass (like a skater on ice!).
2.   It is very easy to increase the splay further, allowing the inner stiffer bristles to come into contact more often, and with much less effort - bird muck is certainly more easily removed (I’m convinced of that).
3.   Because the brush can be squashed almost flat to the glass, it makes brushing behind door handles a ‘doddle’.

I have the previous model and this is definitely better!

I prefer the one before, not to keen on the newest one, thought i had a dodgey one till Alex said they had changed them.

Which version is that then? I had the first one, then the improved one. Is there a third one now then?  ???

Interesting. Soon there will be a fourth model, which will be 180g. I guess you can even improve a perfect brush.  :)

Using the new s/l flocked dual trim - really fast over the glass - took a bit of getting used as I felt it wasn't doing much but the results prove otherwise.  Has really speeded things up and a joy to use.
