Title: Cheap pump setups

Im just setting up someone on a cheapo budget, would this be ok?

I should imagine itd be ok for an small pole,

I think the issue is the 30psi.

What psi are shurlfo backpacks? Mines fantastic and will pump through 100m of microbore

Matt a lot of it is to do with the "litres per minute",that pump has a too high flow rate
the pump needs to be able to flow a certain amount of water per minute and with most using micro and minimore hose the pump will keep pulsing on and off instead of a "on flow" motion  ;)

Good choice Mike
We have sold hundreds of that type and they are extremly reliable, an extra benifit is that the aph draw is very low so the battery can last days between charges.

No, the ebay ad is not for my Company, its a diving equipment company that also sells a small range of wfp kit.

how dus it compear to shorflow pumps as to lasting with 100 m 6mm hose

I used one of these for a trolley system and it worked great upto 3rd storey and for the price you can keep a couple as spare pumps

iv got one in my back pack but its only used now and agane  ,the resun for asking is thet one of my pumps has just gone to meat it maker ,and be for any body asks it beyond the kiss of life

can vouch for these guys too,
bought a pump to make a diy trolley with and worked a treat.
