Karl you will need to come down a bit on price if you really want to sell this machine. Otherwise you will have it for sale all day long.
I have the Phoenix here which has more grunt than the Panther 20 and all up with tanks they are only eight and a half brand NEW!
-
to be honest dave all in with vat
i paid over 12000 to woodbridge with all the extras.
i am not that desperate to sell
this machine has only done 265 hours
7000 no vat is a saving to someone of 5000
and its imaculate as said
i would consider part exchange with a really high powered porty
but it would need to be real nice condition, frankly fed up with the tat
you normally see out there , i look after my stuff.
thanks for the advice though..:}

I saw the Pheonix the other week and what I like about it is how compact it is fitting in a small van and still space for reel, rotary etc.
Dave, how much do they weigh, bet there wouldn't be any weight issues unlike some similar performance machines (not the Promount)
Karl, you are in a good position. If you don't mind it taking up garage space and then eventually someone will come along who sees the value in it.

I saw an advert for the new Phoenix today in an online mag, www.tomorrowscleaning.com hydramaster said it is 300kg i think ?
saw it at Wolverhampton, looks a nice machine, and nice price.
Would fit nicely in say a new Expert which i been looking at, and there payload is 1000kg, and only 8999 for van
-
I heard that it will cost approx £8k plus vat and include s/s tanks and 100ft of hose vac and solution and a wand all fitted and with a warranty.
Shaun
-
Seems a goog price Shaun, how would it compare to your machine ?
Andrew
-
Mine would swallow it up and spit it out and Hydramster would back me up on that, well they'd have to ;D
Shaun
-
Sit tight Karl I spoke to someone today who may have what your looking for.
Shaun I take it your talking about the Panther 20 when you say 8 grand all in and not the Phoenix which is a totally different machine to the Panther
-
Not forgetting the VAT which has to be added later if you aren't registered for it.
Shaun
-
You've lost me now Shaun, every thing has vat from suppliers!
Karl's just pointing out his machine is 7 grand all in ;D
-
Hi andrew
Is that for a new van on the road ???
Or with p exchange..
cheers
clinton

Clinton, i have a print out of 50 new vans in front of me, boxers and experts, all weights and all horsepowers.
Which one you thinking of ?
Standard boxer, 100 bhp 8999 +delivery vat and rfl =11184.85 on the road
Standard expert 90 bhp same price as above
The professional models in each, plus metal bulkhead, aircon and bluetooth are 11874.85 on the road
Colours are bianca white, batik orange (looks gold) aluminium, and one council orange :(
Nice prices considering new boxer list price is about 16k, plus if your vat reg, get back 1434
Andrew
-
Thats sounds a good price Andrew - the Boxxer being same price as the Expert, if you need the size (and truckmounters do) then that is very good.
-
Hi andrew
Am looking at the expert type just becaue it should go in my garage(will find out today or tmor when he brings it) Have had a quote for the dispatch 10467 plus rfl thats with my van in px(10 yr old 48k)
Yes have also found the pre reg with del milage going at a good price and also as you say the larger vans at the same price.
If it wont fit in the garage its going to ba another van of my choice and colour.
What price on a dispatch did you get?
Thanks for the help andrew.
clinton

Andrew
How much are the dispatch type size with the bulkhead etc..
Thanks mate
clinton
-
Hi clinton, its a peugeot dealership, so they are Experts.
90 hp, 1000kg in white, with bulkhead, bluetooth and air con,
total on the road price, inc delivery, vat and road fund licence =£11874.85 less your trade in
Nice looking vans, the boxer, larger is same price, that is a deal :)
Andrew
-
Thanks andrew
Sounds the same here with the dispatch then..
Just had a quote 1100 on the road that includes ply line and metallic paint thats with my van taken in px.
Do you think thats a good deal ???
Still could get some more off i guess as well when i meet the salesman :)
cheers clinton
-
If that includes the vat, then would say it is a fair price, i do know they are not offering much on trade ins, suppose they cant offer it both ends.
only offered me 1750 for an 03 with 52k miles,
probably keep it for builders cleans and the like, run it in to ground, and just pay outright for a new one.
Andrew
-
when i bought my new car, arnold clarke offered me £750 for my old car, went to another arnies and they offered me £950.
went back to the first one they offered me £1100. eventually i got £1300 for my old car plus £500 off the screen price on the new car, plus mats and a tank of diesel. patience and persistance is the key. theres deals out there you just have to work at them, just smile and joke a lot and they'll bend over backwards for ya.
derek
-
Quite right too Derek, we clean for the Peugeot garages, Carlisle salesman offered me 1350, local one in Penrith offered me 1750, still to see the usual sales guy who i deal with, 2k would sit nicely against a new one, or i will sell privately prob get up to 2.5k as is low miles and clean.
Andrew
-
Cheers andrew.
Am going to have a few more quotes and se what they say and the price might a bit lower, and if it does not fit in the garage am going to get a bigger van.
I got scrapage as mine in ten years old,so i would maybe keep yours..
Derek
Your right there :)
Going to see what else he knocks of tmorr when he brings he van here ;D
-
Andrew
Have you got a link for that offer on the expert for 8999 please ???
thanks..
-
Clinton I never realised it applied to commercial vehicle too.
Says he rubbing his hands ;D
I was looking at getting a VW transporter and now with 2 grand off its looks sooner rather than later.
-
Dave
The hyundai iload van looks good but I would hang on a bit for the six speed box
Len
-
Dave
I had a transporter for 3 years - superb van
Steve
-
Yes Dave, the £2000 does apply to new vans.
-
Dave
Its a great time to get a new van with the scrapage :)
As andrew has also found out :)
Going to order my new van in the next few days hopefully :)
So many great deals to have as well :)

I had a VW van and it drove like a car very nice it was but the only trouble was that as a van it was a bit heavier than most and with the weight of my Bane Clene in it I had to have a new clutch every year. Recently I had some tiles delivered to my house and the delivery driver reversed up my drive and the clutch smell reminded me of that old van his being a new model.
Shaun
-
Shaun
Thats why I had an automatic ;D
Miss it though, but at least my old banger is bought and paid for !
Steve
-
Cheers for that andrew :)
Am goin to look into that :)
