Id probably say 8 weekly.

I have a mix of 4 and 8 weekly custys. 8 weekers pay £2 more than the 4's.

I'd love to have all my customers on 8 weekly cleans.

Some won't change from 4 to 8.

I've been going for 4 months now and in the first 3 months I offered 4 or 8 weekly at the same price.

Going from no job / work, to a business that leaves my family spending money in 4 months is great. I'm looking to get a van and be able to take on more work at the end of this year. Once I'm up to full capacity with the van I will look at moving as many 4's to 8's as I can.

At the moment I'm happy as its growing. My wife and I have done a lot of hard work, time for a break for a little while.

Someone not so long ago said something along the lines of..

You need to get rid of your first 200 customers to have a damm good business.

The first 200 are a learning curve... Some being underpriced, damm awkward or bad payers.

If I could do it all over again I would have offered a different price for 4 and 8 weekly, but you live and learn

I respect what your saying but my strategy would be to canvass 8 months only then. It will take you longer to get to full capacity but then you wont be changing the customers routines from 4 to 8 weeks and as you probably know people dont like change.

in a way this is true, but with years of experience in pricing we still cock it up sometimes (just not to often)
I run 4 8 12 week cleaning now, 12 was added at start of the year because some people are a little strapped for cash and better to keep people at good prices than throw them to the monkey's

i tell my custy every 4 weeks but if they seem iffy i offer 8 weeks because an eight weeker is better than a no weeker ;D

What ever the customer wants, thats what I do. I even have a couple of customers on 6 months now.

Our windows at home hardly ever get cleaned and they don't look bad to me. Just be grateful there are people out there prepared to pay you to clean theirs!

Is it easier to canvass and pick up work on 8 weekly and 12 weekly cycles?

I do 6 weekly - occasionally 12 for larger jobs.

I could well be changing all of mine to that too due to wfp lasting longer it will allow me more time to work up the commercial side too.
