First time round using water fed pole system, windows seem to look ok at time of being cleaned but when returning they look speckly and full of run marks. Is this because I have cleaned the frames and will it get any better?, as I have already lost one customer (crank anyway). I am having to explain that next time round will be better. My TDS reading is 5 and I am waiting on a D.I polishing unit to bring it down again. Is it because it's the first time clean and that we are doing the frames? I really need all help I can get 'cos I can't afford to pay loads of money for something that will not do a good job.

tds of 005 should work perfectly well.
Yes, you will get runs, spots etc from cleaning tops of frames but they will come up better on 2nd and 3rd clean. Just explain to the customer the reason and they benefit from having frames cleaned in addition to glass, plus that in future the windows should stay cleaner longer as rain will not wash dirt off frame onto glass.
To avoid this on first cleans you have to clean top of frame thoroughly, and possibly go over all the windows twice to allow the fames to dry off a bit.

Thanks for the advice. Hopefully it will improve as I cannot afford to loose loads of custom. Thanks again.
