Anyone know whats the maximum length of vacuum hose you can use on a prowler?

 Cheers Mark.

Sorry No

But would have thought about 200-250ft uphill with any machine a lot less than stated ;)

Which one of the Prowler range were you thinking?

Joe Hatton has a 15hp and I'd have thought that would do upto 400ft although I could say for sure, I'm sure I read somewhere that Paul King had used 250ft on his old 12hp version.

You need to talk to John Kelly at restormate, he posts on here but out of respect for the forum owners he doesn't directly answer his products questions on here.

13hp (the red one) 300'

15hp (the yellow one) 400'

I have the 15hp but only 175' of hose  :(  More then enough for 99% of my jobs.

Cheers Shaun was going to give John a call, was just sitting here pondering my next move truckmount or prowler. Looked on restormates website but does'nt give much spec. I need about 300ft of hose for some regular commercial work.

I don't think the 15hp is on John's site.

i had 200 foot out last night, with no loss of suction and steam pooring out the wand,
up a path, through a front door along a corridor up 2 flights of stairs  through a door, through a wheelchair storage lobby along another corridor, down a small flight of stairs into a day room, tell ya what, its hell of a trek.
15hp prowler would do the same no problem. very rare you'd need much more.

Now you've fully descaled your TM do you find that it's hotter again?

Shaun

PS When I descale mine after some time it gets really hot infact I prefer it when it scales up a bit.

My 427 gets hot and I have 6 x o15 jets so that's 09 coming out and it still comes out like steam, great for getting chewing gum off ;D
