Title: cleaning rainwater
Post by: SHINING EXAMPLE on July 25, 2009, 05:54:37 pm
Just started harvesting rainwater. Catching plenty, but it's coming into the tank horribly dirty from roof. Of course, resin doesn't really deal with organic material; so just wondering how successful users of rainwater deal with the problem. E.g. do those downpipe filters really work. I've been using a foam pond filter & 'tea strainer' but it doesn't change colour of the water.
Any thoughts gents?
Thanks Gary.
