Title: Denim dye in carpet !!!!!
Post by: darren Jones on July 23, 2009, 10:22:18 pm
Hi folks,

Today had a call of a customer who has placed wet washing on her wool carpet. Contained in the clothing was denim jeans which has subsequently dyed the carpet over the period it has been left which remains unknown.

Any tips on how to remove if possible ? or any previous experience with removing this type of stain?

Thanks
Darren

I hope you sucked your teeth and shook your head when you looked at the stain ;D ;D ;D

When I did my first ever job I was wearing jeans and couldn't quite understand why blue patches seemed to start appearing..... It was where I was kneeling and the dye subsequently transfered from my jeans onto the carpet...... Suffice to say, I wear proper work trousers now! :)

Glad to hear you cracked the job!!!!!
