Also....
We are cleaning a lot of E.O.T cleans where tenants have been cooking a lot of Asian food over the past year or two!!!!, does anyone have a solution for removing grease and fat from kitchen tiles and units, we have tried all sorts of chemicals which we have then left it to soak for hours and then come back to tackle it and it still doesn't seem to move, we have tried to scrape it of.... NOTHING.
Can anyone suggest anything?
Cheers

We use a heavy duty degreaser spray it on & leave for a few mins, for the tiles you can use a glass scraper - seems to work for me. Regards to the inside of cupboards I use a kitchen cleaner which has bleach in it bleaches some of the yellow stains but not always possible to completely get rid of the yellow cos it stains. Always change the extractor filter too this helps get rids of some more of the smells.

Paraffin is a great degreaser,5lt go's a long long way, plus its odourless, then clean up with any household cleaner you have afterwards

Yes we do! I know exactly what you mean!
Knee deep is not? I think its awful how they allow the kitchen to get like it.
Its almost like the get the cooking oil/grease on fan and turn on full blast. Its everywhere even in places (Lager) Carlsburg cannot reach!
If you think the kitchens are bad what about the toilets - No hygiene whatsoever!!!!! :o
Chems best I have found UBIK 2000 an absolute requiremwnt for this.
A presure washer sometimes comes in handy! Its that bad
Where are you based?
