Title: Compter picture HELP
Post by: mark_roberts on May 05, 2005, 06:25:17 pm
I'm trying to take a picture from a website and put it into word and enlarge it to the full size of the page BUT the quality is crap ie. the round lines of the pic are not longer round.

How can I take the pic and maintain its quality but enlarge it.

In case your wondering its the red no entry sign as found on the highway code website.

thanks
Mark

Hi Mark

Sound like the quility is not very good. its depends on the quility when photo was first taken.

Why not find a nice new sign in the street on a sunny day, take step ladder so you get the right angle and take you own.

or evan better take a photo of one in a street that everyone knows in your area.

Respect...........................Ian

I use Serif page plus 9 a desk top publishing program. I guese there are similar programs about.
Loaded your pic from web site, replaced sign by drawing around the symbols, converted to picture then compressed size in Adobe Photo Shop,
just takes a few mins! Cant do much more than above though, not a wizz kid at this!
If you need similar ones doing just send me the links ;D

I havent got the DTP package your talking about but would like to take you up on your generous offer.

I need a one way sign (blue rectangle with a white arrow) and a warning sign for a slippery surface (red triangle with a pic of a car and a 'wavey' road).  They are on the highway code website.

Cheers mate your a life saver.

Mark

PS. I need them for a Sunday School lesson in case your wondering.
