--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
gutter cleaners by us charge 20 or 25 quid per length.
so typical 3 bed semi (3 sides, 3/4 hours work ) £60 or £75 (fascia/ soffit extra)
4 bed detached 4 sides, 1 hours work £80 or £100 (fascia/ soffit extra)
if you turn up with a ladder and bucket people will expect it for peanuts but if you turn up with van, vac and looking smart you can charge extra. they seem to like to pay more for professionals.

New clean I charge £5 per metre.
Thats for gutter clearing and flushing, outside cleaned and fascia boards cleaned.
-
how many metres is a side then?
-
sometimes i think its not enough at £5 a metre so add extra if you think it isnt.
but most of the time on most houses it works well
kind regards

Drive a usual side of a 3 bed semi is 7-8 metres so £35-£40 per side

so 160 quid for a 4 bed semi for just the inside of gutters?

a semi had approx 2 lengths of guttering about 8 metres.
so thats ( 5*8 )*2 = £80.00
(stupid smiles, had to edit it :D )

How long is a piece of string? Buy a tape-measure or pace it out.
Plus you'll find £5.00 a metre is more than the going rate to just clean the leaves/trash etc out of the gutters. For that price youll need to be offering cleaning the outsides off, including fascia boards soffits etc.
To clear a 4 bed semi of JUST trash from the gutters will take no more than an hour.
spot on mate, the washing of gutter, fascias and soffits aswell, jesus crist does he live in park lane or something. but if customer dont mind paying it good on him i suppose

I did say in an earlier post they get gutters cleared and flushed, outside washed down and the fascia and soffits washed down.
-
That's fairly cheap for all that - could take three to four hours to do the lot.

What for soffits, fascias and gutters in and out?

My response was aimed mainly at Drive Surgeon, I got the impression he thought it was just for outsides.
Do you get much uptake at £5.00 a metre, its still more than me and Im in the south. I charge £3.50 per bracket (which I assume is a metre) for ins and outs.
Personally i charge more for that type of work than i would get window cleaning per hour. I dont like doing it whereas i enjoy window cleaning, or glass restoration, CCU's.
so as an example i charge £10 more per hour for upvc stuff than i charge for window cleaning.
If its too much for the potential customer then i dont see why i should do it for less - i dont get anything from it.

front of average terrace house .if gutters full £20 clean outside of gutters n facia board £25 ,xtra. same price for back or side
-
i always charge £40 per side for gutter cleared and cleaned, soffits and fascias cleaned. but if they have a lower and higher guttering like say on front of a 4 bed detact house i would charge £25 for lower gutter and £25 for higher gutter and just £40 for back and £40 for side and so on. so in the end you would get for a 4 bed det house for gutter cleaned, cleared, soffits and fascias cleaned
for £170 then charge a bit extra for obstacles like conservatories or fencing so therefore about £200 just a rough guide i use, hope it helps
