I currently run a Jet washing/Graffiti removal co based in Glasgow and am think about starting window cleaning as business can be very quiet. I have a 600 litre tank in my vehicle and am thinking about converting to a pure water system. The water here is 30 parts/million. Would I be able to fill my tank by just running tap water thru a filter/ resin system to purify? and is it really that easy to get a decent round?
I do not want to sound cheeky as I know that cleaning anything badly is easy but to do a good job is not.
Would it really be worth my while trying or should I go out with the old squeegee and mop route first?

30ppm def di only ,sounds like you wouldnt have to jump that far
with the gear you have already got for pure cleaning,wouldnt hurt to get
squeegees and mops etc you never know when they will come in handy
inside cleaning,shop fronts etc.
when it comes to round building well im no expert but this is my third year
and im only just starting to get to a place where i want to be.
the real experts should be along later and no doubt will be able
to give you better advice..best of luck if you decide to go ahead :)

Its very easy to get work but to get good paying, well priced work that is regular and earns well is very hard and most wont turn more than 20, 000 for a few years unless they land some very good contracts in commercial but that depends on your experience in that kind of thing etc... Its not as easy as is made out by some who are sat behind a keyboard trying to sound like they make loadsa money, but it is out there if you work hard ....

Yea totally agree, you need both methods to be able to compete. You can use wagatil hand tools if you want to be super efficient on the insides and wfp on the outsides.
I think with a TDS of 30ppm it is a crime not to become a wfp window cleaner!
