Title: Rotary advice
Post by: shaun_pearson on July 19, 2009, 01:42:48 am
Hi guys, im needing some advice on rotary/bonnet cleaning. Total newbie to this type of carpet cleaning so can anyone recommend suitable equipment for me to buy. I would need a complete package and also some help with the method of use.
ive got a large nursing home to clean in a couple of weeks, done the job several times over the years with my ninja with good results but dreading doing it all again, back and forward all night with buckets of water :( . I was thinking of trying rotary on its own in some areas and also going over areas that ive used the ninja on,  what do you think.
Anyway any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks  Shaun

Hi Shaun,

Whilst a Bonnet / LM System may help you, in the situation you describe (Nursing Home) I dont think it will be the answer. If you have rooms with incontinent issues and odour, you are going to need your extractor. Where you have communals such as reception/hallways/stairs etc you will be able to bonnet.

So the main idea is that the work can be carried out with two systems, but just bonneting WONT be your answer.

Regards

Gary

maybe agitate well with your rotary so you need less rinsing and take in large 25l containers of water already filled at home to avoid the need for buckets
