What problems are you having?
-
Making it go any where i want it to

I had the same problem and I thought I would never master it, One tip is to make sure the handle is just about waist high, this makes it so much more easier to control, you will soon be able to control it with one hand trust me just al little practice and you will be there. One more tip I find it better to always have the weight on.

Pressure down goes left lift goes right or is it the other way round so confusing ;D

When I started using them I was pushing it along. Luckily Len was there to tell me I was a Plonker. ;D

you are right Len.
Apart from the above , the height of the handle is important as already said. About waist height.
and relax, fight it and you lose.

Takes time to master the machine and soon you will be drinking a cup of tea and chating on the phone all in the same time ;D

Oliver its a Dry Fusion machine that you bought - tho they are all similar in principle. If you dont have the handle low enough and the bonnet damp enough it will swing you all over the place - as the others say quite rightly once you have the knack you can operate with one hand - slight lift takes it to the right and slightly lowering will swing it to the left.
Think you should post a little video of you practising... ;D

took my mate on a job, never carpet cleaned in his life, i wanted him to bonnet a comm after i'd TM'ed it, told him to come to our house and practice with the RX for a bit till he got used to it, stuck him in a small hallway at our house and switched it on, he was turning on a sixpence within 30 seconds.
youve either got it or you haven't. ;D
can in one hand and a burger in the other when i'm doing it, just rest it on me numpty ;D ;D
