I've found over the past few years the life of Pumps and Vac motors has dramatically reduced, I used get a vac motor to last 4 years with regular brush changes but now chances are when the brushes are gone so's the motor!

I have just put my fourth set of brushes on my Lam Ametech
Motors at 1322 hours of work on my Alltec Pro-Plus. Still going strong. Not so lucky with pumps though.

Inside out (whatever your real name is), as a matter of interest are you using a powder or a liquid in your solution tank?. It could have some bearing on your pump only doing 200 hours, which is not good at all.

Hi Criag,
I bought a grace machine and the same happend to me. The pump gave up after about the same amount of hours. The machine was still under warrenty so they replaced it free of charge. Lucky for me i was cleaning a suit at the time so i could rinse by using my sprayer.
I think you must be using the same supplier as me.
I have also been using double clean and found it very good. How would you compare it to m/s?
Where are you based?
Im in cheltenham it would be handy knowing somone else close to me as i have had a few large jobs which i could have needed extra help with.
Rob.

Craig.
Go into yellow pages try Pumps Agricultural, they do every size, every make,, buy one and keep a spare, brushes and new rubber seals for a flowjet pump, about £18.

Hi Craig
Try looking up Carpetcleaningworld.com
several pumps reasonably priced.

I always keep old brush plates off pump motors it's quite easy to change them.
