Title: Peugeot Expert Vans
Post by: Sapphire Window Cleaning on July 15, 2009, 01:38:47 pm
I am looking at getting one of these in the next 2-3 weeks, how reliable are they?
Could you have a 600ltr tank in one?

I was told by a Peugeot mechanic to steer well clear as the engines and gear boxes are not very good. He said they are not upto carrying the weight.

I thought a 650 litre tank would be too heavy for that sort of van, check the payload on one.

payloads vary from 900kg-1200kg.
A 650 tank full will weigh about 700kg-50kg for the tank.

I'll let you know tomorrow,
mines broken down and is at garage, firstly the diagnosis was cam shaft sensor, now it appears there maybe cam belt damage  :o :'(, I will know more tomorrow when I talk to them.

but anyhow, mines 2 ltr hdi and did carry 650 ltr no probs or so i thought.
