yes always charge extra on the first clean.

I offer them a free clean on their 4th regular monthly clean - save time wasters saying they want a regular clean to get one clean done ( the whole works) and then say bye bye..

I always charge more for the first cleans, unless I am taking over from another WC.
I wash down the frames every clean as I use WFP on most of my customers.
If they want a deep thorough clean i.e. grey stain build up removing, then I charge more.
Remember your in business. NOT a charity.

I charge them 50% more as I spend 50% longer on them.

If it's a titchy little 3 bed semi that takes 20 minutes then I just charge what I charge regulars. If it takes 5 minutes longer because it's not been done for 10 years...so what? And if they've conned me and it is a one-off after all, again...so what?

Where I do slap money on is the bigger stuff where the extra work does use up a lot more time, labour and materials. I try to keep the quote a bit open and just give an approximate figure then charge my hourly rate.

I charge some a 1st clean price if they are really bad with frames caked in cobwebs but like lots of others Ive cleaned only to find its a one off clean after they say said monthly.

I never charge extra for 1st cleans, unless its a builders clean obviously.

As for frames, its the customers choice, just price accordingly.
same here
