Got a phone call on a little commercial today "due to the recession blah blah head office cutting out everything non-essential blah blah.
Not the end of the world at £40 a month but a pain all the same ...
First one to go in two years. Sigh!

typical wait till the recession in just about finished before canceling.
you can't deal with some people.
but something better always comes along ;)
-

Lets you gain dditioanal at revised prices.

one of my managing agents have just cut window cleaning to all properties to quarterly from 4 weekly ' due to the current financial climate' :'(

I lost a small office block back in March due to the recession but the sad thing is a month later I was driving past and noticed it all boarded up meaning that the poor 40-50 people working there had lost their jobs.
this recession is far from over and although fuel prices have steadied again after creeping up of late, it would only take the middle east oil barons to do what they did last year to cause absolute chaos and hit industry big time.

i agree this ressesion is far from over people are still losing there jobs on a big scale houses are still getting taken of people i had two reposesions on one of my rounds today
-
unemployment figures up again today and I honestly think is gonna get worse before it gets better.
thankfully for window cleaners that people are still house proud and want their windows cleaned even if more and more are going from monthly to bi-monthly

If I tell my girlfriend I've lost a customer, she replies: "that's life, get over it". Morale of the story forget it and move onwards and upwards.

though to be fair, we are seeing " green shoots " the housing market is slowly moving again
