i got brass hose lock connectors, b& q's own brass ones. i use them to fill my tank with a stop cock system so tank does not overflow but the brass conectors drip all the time even with ptfe tape on, what the hell is it? they are new. ??? my van floor is getting wet all the time, also i want another connector on tank for by pass hose to flow back into tank so it means another male connector fitted which may drip?? :o

Change the o rings to stop the drips, and the return hose on my tank is a tank fitting as you would use in the loft from a plumbers shop - 1/2"
-
they are new hose lock connectors fitted onto a toilet ball cock system so the hose pipe fits onto male hoselock connector horizontal so it drips a bit,
-
Thats what mine's like and changing the o ring on the male sorts it

I tried Hozelock, Brass and have settled on Gardena plastic (tho' they pop off in very hot weather!)
-
where do you get the o rings?
