Has anyone bought a Window cleaning warehouse backpack?
How good are they and how long does the battery last on a full charge?
-
I take it noone has bought one of these backpacks.
-
I use a WCW backpack everyday. very easy to use and much less complicated than the shurflo backpack.
I picked up a spare battery too from a shop that sells motability scooters (£20) I put mine on charge every night and is fully charged by morning, lasts all day no prob, sure they stated somewhere the charge lasts about 10 hours.
Have personally used it up to 35ft with no loss of flow.
I can do maximum 3, 2 bed houses on 1 full to the brim tank.
Hope that has helped mate. Any other questions...ask away. ;)

i,ve got 2 of them and its a good easy to use backpack , not as powerful as a varistream/ microbore set up regards alan

I've got one too and do all my work from the backpack. 30ft high easy and will probably go higher.
I charge mine each night and still going strong throughout the day. I forgot to charge it one night and it did me two days without charging. Depends on how much you use it through the day I suppose.
One thing I would say about them is carry a spare fuse with you. Mine went on a job and screwed my day up. I now carry spares and a screwdriver just incase.
Great backpack at a great price. Does the job!

-
tacky where is your switch situated, did you have to bend to switch the controls
-
switch is near the bottom next to charger input .
-
can you wear it like a rucksack or is it just the one strap that goes ove the shoulder
-
I've just ordered the WCW backpack with the unger hi-flo 17ft pole.
How long will I need to charge it for before I can use it.
-
i think mine was a shoulder strap .but i took it off bout a year ago .to much weight on shoulder ,it has a moulded in handle .great for picking up. but if u buy one look for small trolley .for long distances

if you have got a compact round then use a trolley, i use mine constantly everyday, but never wear it on my back, the day of the backpack is comming to an end ;D i have a new idea that i have been working on, big claim i know, but the backpack has to go,
-
Jouk have you applied for patent of your new idea ;D
-
no not yet, but this is the best one ever ;D
-
is their a fuse in the wcw backpack

Tacky yes there is.
I received my WCW packpack this morning, what a piece of kit. I love it (my shoulders and back doesn't) ;D
No messing around with hoses. just throw it on your back and away you go.
-
Fuse is in the bottom along with the battery and pump. Its sausage shaped. Open it up and you'll see. Can't remember what amp it was (I've been trying to get up since 6 this morning and it just hasn't happened - I'm so tired)

Any of you guys turn the packback on and off between windows or just turn the tap off on the hose so the pressure switch kicks in.
