I use to be a courier driver, and smashed into the back of a nissan micra.
I was working on a Saturday morning and had one parcel to deliver, i was driving on a dual carrage way leading to a round about on an over pass, I saw her brake lights go out and she started to move so I looked to the right and no cars were on the roundabout then turned back and wham, hit her up the rear.
I quessed that I was probably doing 30 when I hit her. shook me up a bit.
caused 1,000's worth of damage, and the cheeky sods back at the depot asked if I had delivered the parcel.
that was the worst job I ever had, leaving for work at 5.30am and not getting back home til 10pm mon-fri then sat 6am-1pm

do any of you get a run of near misses some maybe your fault other times
you get idiots on the roads usealy about 8 in the morning.
i noticed this more when i had a milk round i allways got home for 7 to save the hassel
round here we have round abouts but nobody stops to give way and we have a bypass
where evry one overtakes even on corners :o

unfortunately, it was clearly my fault.
But, that's why we have insurance. Accidents happen.
As long as no ones hurt , no problem
-
no, at a junction, she was in front, I set off, she didn't ???
I was rushing to get to my physio appointment cos I was late finishing a job, just rushing, not concentrating properly, we all do it!! don't we?
Clearly her fault. She should have gone. No place on the road for these ditherers ;D
