how long til my booster pump builds up enough pressure for my production to speed up?
was producing 1 litre/1.5 mins prior to fitting pump
now producing 1 litre/1.5 mins
??? ??? ???
-
where have you got the booster pump
-
after pre-filter, before ro
-
I would of thought the pump would be ready straight away?

my thoughts exactly
-
after pre-filter, before ro
should be ok whats the pressure your getting
ie any thing over 60 psi should be ok
but you should be getting much higher
-
no idea on pressures.
where can i get a pressure tester from?
-
any ideas on this one chaps?

this is really winding me up.
no increase in production at all, what a waste of 80 odd quid.
i know the pressure on my outside tap is poor, as i was producing 1 litre of pure in 1.5 mins prior to fitting the pump, and am still getting it.
it is simple to install, so no errors on that front, its sat vibrating away, but just making no difference whatsoever, and i can't understand it at all. :'(

mine produces double the amount as soon as switched on ,got it from pure freedom £100
-
to check if it,s working look at the amount of waste water . if the flow has increased it,s working!
-
Check your connections and you have it pumping the correct way??
My tap pressure is 30psi and with the pump its 65psi

waste is exactly the same with or without pump.
seriously doing my head in this.
or is 1l per 1.5 mins acceptable pure production?!

Well first of all you said
no idea on pressures.
where can i get a pressure tester from?
I gave you a link for a pressure gauge, then you say
i know the pressure on my outside tap is poor,
The figures you quoted would give roughly 1000 ltr pure per 24 hours, how much do you use :o
You haven't given any details of your set up so it's hard for anyone to answer accurately

What RO have you got? That production rate doesn't sound too bad to be honest,... your tap pressure might have been good enough to begin with!
-
Yep. 40 litres per hour is pretty good for a 200 or 300 gpd ro.
But it's a how long is a piece of string question, without knowing what we are talking about.
Anyway, have you spoken to your supplier? What did they say?
It does seem strange that it hasn't improved flow rate at all.
