What glue do you need to glue a slx replacement butt cap on.

Also is it the same for a extel ?

You shouldn't need any glue.  Both caps are a push fit. The SL-X cap will need warming in boiling water slightly to be able to stretch over.  If you did need to use a glue, then a superglue would work.

I use a squeegee rubber cut to exact length, wrap round base & fix with a small tie-wrap. The numptyble on the one edge of the rubber just sits nicely under the base of the section! ;)

As I use my SLX's top 4 sections for most of my work I went to B & Q and bought a pack of rubber ferrules (Walking stick or furniture leg caps) and drilled a hole through it for the hose.
