just filled my tank van 650 litres full and did my usual and checked the water with my tds straight after. yesturday it was at 002ppm so i thought ill buy some more resin for next week, anyway today its at 15ppm and im worried on how it will effect tommorows work. got a whole day of first cleans to do. Will this spot??? im hopeing not as dont want to waste a full tank of water. from now on ill be checking my tds of water daily before i fill. Im just shocked it going up so high over night , surely not normal??

reduce the speed of flow thru the di so that the resin has more time to interact with the water.
also shake your di cannister about a bit..
Even on first clean i usually say "you may encounter spots or milky runs, but call me back if you do"
Ive worked with 20tds before, so long as its not really sunny and warm you should be ok.

just checked weather..gonna be a hot 1 so not good. well ill have to plow through and see what happens. thanks

i would of thought you'd get away with it. i've used water at this tds before if i haven't caught it in time, you obviously spend a lot longer on first cleans so i couldn't see it being an issue as you will be rinsing heavily anyway

i regularly use mine at 10 at have no problems regards alan

Try flushing your RO system for 20 minutes before filling your tank.

I'm using tds of 22 atm as i'm waiting on a delivery of resin.
not had any problems.

come on guys sort it out tds reading above 009 should not be used as will spot up like a good un! Try ordering A bag in advance then youll never run out.

go out now and clean one of your own windows
