Can I just say I have been on this forum for about 8 months, mostly sitting back and reading, and this is all I ever see, A thread about WFP that mentions any thing good about it has like 3,4 or even five pages of talk, and as soon as its something that is a proven downpoint, there is three replies.

purified water can't remove paint from glass mate,  you need a scraper for that.   it will clean glass to a high standard but it wont remove oil based liquids that have dried nor will it remove dried egg whites not even hot purified water will do that.     its true its a fantastic cleaning tool but its not a miracle worker

A company here in the states (Reach Higher Ground) makes a product that solves the problem. Here's a link.

Just leave it there if you dont fancy getting a ladder and scraper out afterall, they are paying you to clean the windows not clean the mess they made of painting the house!
